More Airport/Airplane Food-- to Dubai!

First stop before heading to Dubai? The airport.* Which equals food. I think it is important to mention that we were flying Emirates, unlike in my previous blogs (here and here) which were written about food we had when flying Cathay Pacific.

Here we go! In the airport there was...

Tuna sandwich and baby sized cream cheese bagel for me. Loved the bagel!

A pizzette, bread, and cheese and butter and another tuna sandwich

Airplane/Airport Eats, Part 2

I'm about to go on another trip to really exciting places* so I've been reviewing my photos of airplane food. Then I remembered I've only written Airplane/Airport Eats Part 1 (click HERE for that post) and still haven't produced the sequel. So here it is-- the stuff we ate at the airport and plane, on the way back home to Manila from our HK/Xiamen trip! :)

The ever-present, ever-gorgeous smoked salmon, on a bed of beautiful greens. I swear, I could really live off of salmon, salad, oysters, and BEEF. Those are all the things I need.

Mozarella, olives, tomatoes, and mushrooms make a nice salad.

Airplane/Airport Eats, Part 1

So I said I wouldn't post any photos from my new camera until I'd posted all my other photos (from previous meals out) but I just can't bear the thought of making blog entries with less than divine pictures.* Thus, here I am, blogging with sharp, high-quality photos! You like? :D

I swear, this was the best trip ever. It's been exactly a year since I've last been to HK (which is only my FAVORITE city in the world**) and 7 months since I've gone to Chinaland. So it was a lot of fun! I loved spending time with my grandparents. They are the absolute sweetest... And (most of) the food was FABULOUS!

FABULOUS (with some exceptions) FOOD I ATE AT THE AIRPORT/ON THE PLANE
(I'm rediscovering my love for lists***)

1. In the Cathay Pacific Lounge in Manila: finger sandwiches. Ham and cheese, pimiento and cheese, chicken. The best was the pimiento and cheese. Everything else was ho-hum!
