The Best Brownie

Y'all gotta try this recipe. It is LIFE CHANGING because:
A. It is very easy to make (4 INGREDIENTS ONLY)
B. It is good for you (non-cancer causing!!!!!!!!!!!) as it is RAW and full of ANTIOXIDANTS

You will need:

1. 2 cups of walnuts. Process them in a  blender or a food processor until they are nice and finely ground. This will take you from 2-5 minutes, depending on how awesome (or un-awesome) your machine is.

2. 1 cup of Hershey's cocoa. If you have access to raw cacao (which you can't get around here in the third world, as far as I now), use that. But if you don't, decent quality unsweetened cocoa will do. Please do not use cheap cocoa as it will ruin everything. Add this into your blender/food processor along with....

3. 1/2 tsp sea salt. Pulse to combine. If you can get lovely Himalayan pink salt (someone used to sell it in morning Mercato), it will taste divine with the brownie, like Lindt chocolate + sea salt in chewy brownie form. If not, normal sea/rock salt works just fine.

4. 2.5 cups of pitted dates. I don't know where to get dates here in Manila (please give me a heads up if you know of any decent place) but my aunt recently gifted us with a box of these delicious caramel-y babies. You can also get them on amazon.com and ship them here via pobox.ph (I know it sounds like such a hassle, but if you're a health junkie with a chocolate habit you can't kick, I think it would be worth it). Anyway, you can also use prunes or golden raisins as a substitute. Toss your dates/prunes/golden raisins 1 at a time (in the case of golden raisins, a handful at a time) and keep your food processor spinning throughout. You'll end up with a crumby mixture which you ought to press into a pan and make to look like a panful of regular brownies. Pop into your fridge to chill for a while.

Dust some more cocoa on top, and go to heaven! :)
