On my last day in Hong Kong last January, I didn't really have lots of time before I had to board my flight back home. I was just wandering around central, waiting for the shops to open so I could do a bit of last minute shopping. So, there I was in the backstreets of Hong Kong. I passed by a lot of markets and restaurants. I was actually trying to find a particular Yum Cha place, but things didn't go as planned.

Jakarta x Bali Photo Diary
Jakarta
Instant millionaire.
This is how they do street food. Lots & lots of cheese.
Gado gado: a vegetable & tofu dish doused with lots of peanut sauce!
This has got to be one of the BEST views of Jakarta. Picture taken from the top of Monas.
Bali
So glad to see lots o' blue.

Thailand Photo Diary
I went on a holiday with my family to Thailand. It's somewhere that I've been wanting to go for quite a while now. 4 words for me to describe Thailand- great food, rich culture. There's way too much for me to say- so I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
Midday traffic in Bangkok
One of the many icy desserts we had
Thai take on the oyster cake
Crispy roti with condensed milk- so good.

Mucking x Eating x Travelling Around
OH, HEY!
Well, I've got to say, I haven't been proud of my actions. Obviously cause I've been away from here, I don't have exact reasons for it other than just being I've been lazy and complacent. You know what happens when the uni holidays roll around, when you're back home enjoying home-cooked meals, when you suddenly have so much time to daydream, actually have time to travel, and best of all, have time to spend with family and friends!
It's been too long. It's time to come around and start writing again. So much has happened, so many stories to tell, and yet, so much more to experience. Cheers to 2013 and what it has to in store for me!
So.. here's a sneak peek of my adventures over the holidays.
Be blogging about 'em soon.
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
Where the coffee is great and the creative ones go wild.

Mt Pinatubo
Some photos from an impromptu Mt Pinatubo trek my friends and I went on a few months ago!
This is so random (and soooo dramatic) but I am so tired of always worrying and being afraid! The day before we went on this trip, I was so afraid of all the things that could go wrong, and kept pestering my friends for assurance! I was worried about:
1. Flash floods and getting trapped on the mountain and having to face starvation/wild beasts
2. Unsafe buses that might kidnap us
3. Surprise volcanic eruption (honestly, "you can never can tell")
4. Getting lost/separated from the group and perishing somewhere along the way
We had to wake up BEFORE DAWN and met up at the bus station where I grew even more apprehensive because it was so dark (WHAAAT?) and I have never taken an unsupervised and not-super-well-planned bus trip in my life. But when we got to the mountain, I was so happy! It was so beautiful.

| WILD WILD ADRENALINE PUMPING ADVENTURE |
8 Things I'm Loving, and 1 Thing I'm pissed about.
1. Jazz and electro pop had a baby and it was named The Bird and The Bee. They are a musical duo based in Los Angeles; they're different from your norm of pop and rock. I love them so much that they have been playing pretty much non-stop every single moment when I'm on my computer. Try listening to singles such as My Love, Heard It on the Radio, and Rich Girl. YAY for indie music.
2. Wholemeal Turkish Bread. You're missing out on a lot if you haven't tried Turkish Bread. It's like the outcome of the marriage of Indian Naan and the everyday loaf. They are heaps of air pockets which give heaps of texture when you toast it.*

Cliff Diving in Santorini, Greece
We've obviously amped up the blog lately, and everything is playing out flawlessly. This is the FIRST post for the FUTURE ADVENTURES section! Pretty damn exciting! Cause of the happenings here and there these days, I've decided that I want to live life to the fullest. Life's too short, and I just have to grab every opportunity and challenge! That doesn't mean doing stupid things though!
One of the things on my list is cliff diving! It's an adrenaline junkie idea that's really out there! It's just one of the many crazy things I intend to do! So definitely watch out for the even crazier posts to come!
